About Crawf Weir

Crawf’s classes are a unique blend of strength and softness, both challenging and fun. He believes anybody can do yoga; young or old, weak or strong. The secret is to listen to your body and to be present to the experience. He first tried yoga after struggling with chronic back pain for several years. Having already tried every kind of therapy, he decided to go to a yoga class. Little did he know, yoga was about to completely change his life. After two years of daily yoga practice, his back pain disappeared, he was 15 kilos lighter, and far happier. Listening to his heart he quit his corporate job and became a yoga teacher. He has trained with many of the World’s leading teachers, like Bryan Kest, Maty Ezraty, Sarah Powers and Paul Grilley. Crawf has been teaching for over 10 years and taught thousands of classes and students in this time. The purpose of Crawf’s teaching is to help people heal their bodies and free their minds, so their lives become more authentic and more enjoyable. He is is the founder of www.barefootyoga.com.au, a down-to-earth yoga studio in the heart of Paddington, Sydney. In addition to running Barefoot Yoga, Crawf teaches ‘Sunrise on the Steps’ – a series of public yoga classes on the forecourt of Sydney Opera House. Crawf is a yoga instructor for Love Destination with 12 courses including The Mediation Series, Yoga Beginner's Flow and Yoga for Neck and Shoulder Stress Relief.
